C1XV gets its own Wood - March 29th 2005

Spring has sprung, the trails are drying out nicely and its getting lighter in the evening. The C1XV have now secured the license to develop and maintain the trails in Lott's Wood near Missenden. Very big props to Simon North for his huge effort in liasing with the Forestry Commission on this and getting the project off the ground. Trailbuilding work has already begun and there will be regular sessions throughout the Spring, plus several rides in the wood for 'bedding in' the trails.
